In order for change to happen, we need to work together.
While there have been social media posts about ManyVids and small collectives who have voiced their opinion on the censorship, low payouts, and other unfair treatment from ManyVids - for the most part, ManyVids has managed to silence the voices of people who speak out against them through hiding comments on social media, suppressing and censoring photo posts and contest entries from protestors of the platform, and removing spaces where performers could network and share feedback on the platform like the MV Blog comments.
The changes on ManyVids are more than just cosmetic... censoring pornographic content and opting to instead promote safe for work content while simultaneously failing to educate their creators on current laws impacting the porn sphere are damaging to the future of pornography. There are already political movements that aim to target pornography and it's creators and we need ManyVids to stand firmly on our side.
