Webcam Startup Webinar Episode 8 will be live December 15th, 2020 at 3pm PT / 6pm ET

Hi and welcome back to the Webcam Startup Webinar! Usually this is hosted on Camland Podcast, but we are currently undergoing a remodel to transform the site into something new and exciting so we will be hosting the page here on Webcam Startup today. The show will go live at 3pm PT / 6pm ET and feature our team of adult industry talent discussing major topics and ongoing issues impacting the indie adult community and industry.

Pornhub and Visa… and Mastercard… and Modelhub

If you’ve been on Twitter this last week you have no doubt seen the debacle unfold on your timeline, Pornhub has lost payment processing through Visa and Mastercard rending customers unable to tip models or purchase content via Modelhub. The rumor mill is swirling with possibilities of what might happen next, what sites this will impact longterm, and what is next for Pornhub as they remove all unverified content from their platform. The team will be discussing how these changes could potentially impact the industry, any theories we may have, and how it has personally impacted our team that utilizes Pornhub and Modelhub for part of their income.

Financial Planning and Budgeting

As the year wraps up it is time to gather those tax receipts and prepare for filing. Additionally this can be a great time to do a yearly check in with the sites you utilize and see what is producing the most income, decide how to adjust your focus adequately to sites that benefit you, and start doing your beginning of year financial planning like setting up income spreadsheets and closing out the old ones. The team will talk about how to prepare for the end of year income wise, how to plan for the upcoming year financially, and budgeting tips to help get your year off to a good start.
